So maybe they've been advertising this feature just because it is something new.-maria-https://www.blogger.com/profile/00769586507003743048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439013386414903935.post-9739892203123226332011-09-26T12:30:28.373+01:002011-09-26T12:30:28.373+01:00Hi Maria,

So it can be done.

On some of the new Ford cars the nozzle has to open a flap so they have made it difficult if not impossible to make a mistake but my car has an Audi fuel tank and it’s just an open tube.AlanRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07180571503542781921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439013386414903935.post-27894084031049468632011-09-25T21:54:56.285+01:002011-09-25T21:54:56.285+01:00I know the feeling when you really don't know ...I know the feeling when you really don't know if you are up to your commitments but don't want to let anyone down.

I'm happy it all ended well. Hope you soon feel better.

By the way, I had some kind of a strange belief that you can't fill up your car with unleaded if it uses diesel - that's something I've heard at a car rental service! I mean, that it is technically impossible, that the unleaded "pistol" (I don't know how you call that in English?) wouldn't fit into the tank of a diesel car. They have obviously told me lies!-maria-https://www.blogger.com/profile/00769586507003743048noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439013386414903935.post-27873781191062461802011-09-20T19:31:01.966+01:002011-09-20T19:31:01.966+01:00Geoff, I can quite honestly say i have never felt ...Geoff, I can quite honestly say i have never felt so bad on any hike. If it had been in my rucksack it would have stayed there believe me. The picture of me taken by Sheila was while i was still in denial of anything being seriously wrong. It is never fun - and usually sucks. Last month it happened to me. Had to call myself "Mr. Slow" for that hike. I felt horrible and for the first time I could remember, I was telling myself "I need to quit this hike". Like you, I foolishly pushed ahead, and thankfully still had a good time, but it was, well, foolish. The body tells us what is going on, we just need to listen to it more, eh!Redwood Outdoorshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11225512821732298295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439013386414903935.post-68739920189838431872011-09-15T16:20:33.715+01:002011-09-15T16:20:33.715+01:00Blimey Alan, what a week-end.
