Today i felt the pull of the outdoors. I needed some fresh air. It was bucketing down but i got out there. Low cloud, grey and eiriely quiet. Not many people about in fact i only saw 1 fell runner the whole time.
We exchanged greetings. He had his head down and i had my hood up and we passed quickly.
No views today.
A few shots of fungi and that was about it.

Monsoon season Alan! Curious as to the ski lift though?
ReplyDeleteIts becoming a well know feature of our landscape. Last month it pointed “To the Beach”. Next month it may be Santa’s Grotto.
ReplyDeleteWe also felt 'the pull' this afternoon, Alan. The rain had left us by then, but the mud it's left behind will be with us for quite some time.
ReplyDeleteLiterally 'with us'; most of it seems to have attached itself to the two pairs of boots drying in the hallway.
Its good to get out even if the weather is crap. We buy the gear just for this type of day so we might as well use it.
DeleteThat mushroom looks a bit sad Alan!
ReplyDeleteI was feeling a bit sad too. I sent the wrong picture to the blog but as you know once you click send it’s to late to change it. I was just testing the phone - blog link really so i wasn’t too concerned.
