Today's walk started from our cabin at Dovestones and gained height following a good LRT all the way up to Chew reservoir.
From there we followed the gritstone edge round to Alphin Pike.
Great views, some wonderful rock formations and a steep descent back down to Greenfield.
11km and 4.5 hrs. Misty, drizzly start but cleared to be a lovely blue sky day.
Haven't been there, but I love those gritstone edges. Your photos don't fully enlarge when I click to enlarge - pity.
ReplyDeleteSorry Conrad I am following advice from Martin B to blog on the go. I am just trying to get used to the different settings. At the moment I am pleased that I have both pictures and text, I will try and get the pictures to enlarge fully but I won't hold my breath too long.
ReplyDeleteA lovely walk, splendid photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn, I just need to get the photos enlageable ( if that's a proper word).
